One day I’ll do this beautiful scene more justice. But today is not that day. 😁 The will to paint was veneer-thin.

It was one of those days where all the best-laid plans went wonkily awry. And when that happens and I find myself momentarily stuck in my own cobwebs, I am just so gosh-darn grateful to be able to look up and see this beautiful home of ours, just being its stunning, ever-changing but brilliant self.

Daisies – the ultimate flower of love and peace and all things surrender, acceptance and kindness – they tap into my inner (and let’s be honest – outer and sideways) hippie child.

So…

If today was all you had – could you head into nature and spend it on your back, looking for beauty instead of goodbyes, in the clouds and light around you?

If one daisy was all you had would you give it away to lift another spirit, instead of divining answers from its plucked petals?

Maybe, todaisies are all we ever really get? One-off opportunities to put out some acceptance and kindness into the world…
