Where does one love end and another begin?
Where does the snow fade out and the sky fade in?
.
We live the sum of each footstep following what is true,
But in every shade of blue, my heart will remember you.💫

I didn’t pick today’s painting. Leonard Cohen was playing, so I let him choose. The melancholic soul called for this. But I love me some moody AF misty trees so I was happy to comply.😂⠀
.⠀
And I’ll just go out on a limb and say this (cause I’m feeling jaunty today) if you haven’t ever layn back on a couch with only a beautiful Bordeaux to keep you company and listened to his entire essential album from beginning to end while a candle drips its last wax on the table – then I’m not sure we can be friends. Like the best kind of friends, who share the bottoms of their twisted magical souls with each other. Because Leonard, man. He gets it. 💙⠀
.
And if I’m not mistaken, he was the only still living poet to be included in Norton’s Antholgoy of Poetry. 😌✨ Wise old soul..
