A commissioned birthday painting for a dear dear man, this – a capture of his trip to Antarctica during his years working as a surveyor.
.
I’m not sure about many things in this wild short life we get, but I do believe that no night, no adventure in the genuine company of stars will ever leave you feeling regretful.
.
And while we truly celebrate our time on this planet only once a year I wish for this special human and for all of you a lifetime of starry nights and many happy earthdays.

When I started this concept of tiny paintings, my wish was to give people a way of remembering their cherished memories in a tangible way – without the need for social media feeds. This little guy is just such a painting. Created as a commission for a special 4-year anniversary gift from a photo taken spontaneously on a special beach. It’s also my first international commission (eep🙌🏼) and travelled across the pond with my buddy from @riotbeer so as not to incur an additional sole purpose carbon footprint.
.
Thank you @damdickey for your support and belief in me. May this moment in time bring you both much happiness and joy for many years to come. Happy Anniversary to you both.
Here’s Dawn’s little painting on her mantlepiece 😁.

A tiny painting of a place, or rather many parts of a place, that came together in one tiny painting.⠀
.⠀
For you @jalperstein, your Cameroon. ⠀
.⠀
I hope this will help you keep all the lush greenery and abundance of a place you love near, always.⠀
.⠀
And thank you for being so giving🙏 My burn experience would not have been the same without our wonderful sequence of events. I love that it found its way to me from such verdant lands. ⠀

To all the dads, full time, part-time, inaugural, wannabe, surrogate, (still unawares), remembered and aspiring – Raise intuitive daughters and sons. They listen better and expend less time in their becoming.
Private Commission, Sold
My first commission under ‘miniNature’ from one mega special @lau_fergusonfor her man on father’s day. All three of their tiny humans share the same sign! Can you handle – and it’s Sagittarius of all the signs – the mould breakers and expansive thinkers.
Lauren asked me to somehow represent each of the kid’s individuality under the sign and so I decided on their moon signs.
I absolutely loved bringing this concept to life and creating something so unique for another’s wild heart 🖤 . Swipe to see their miniNature painting in their beautiful home🙏🏼✨
To all the dads, full time, part-time, inaugural, wannabe, surrogate, (still unawares), remembered and aspiring- high fives to you!

“A big “thank you for seeing me even when you didn’t know how long I’d stick around” painted on a little piece of fabric.”

This little painting of high up jungle and mountain vistas in Thailand comes with an equally little but layered story. . Often when you’re getting to know new groups of people, some take time to warm up to you and others just make you feel like you fit in right from day one. They listen to your stories and they seem to love your dreams almost as much as you do. It’s quite rare and totally wonderful. And it’s these types of encounters that stir up my desire to reach out and give something back. So when this couple journeyed to Thailand on a little lover’s getaway I got hold of one of their larger than life moments for one of my paintings. A big “thank you for seeing me even when you didn’t know how long I’d stick around” painted on a little piece of fabric.
