‘The Bull’ – Day 111/365

ORIGINAL COPY POSTED ON INSTAGRAM DURING THE CHALLENGE

There’s nothing quite like sitting down in front of your little
canvas, knowing exactly what you want to do in your mind’s eye and
then f*%#ing it up completely. The colours weren’t gel-ing together,
my blending was off and after several attempts, the canvas looked like
something my dog had for breakfast.🤦‍♀️
.
So I reset myself. I let go of the image I had in mind and instead
thought of my favourite Taureans. I thought of their gentle but oxlike
way of navigating life, their grounded energy and their slower but
steadier pace. And then I painted that feeling watching something much
closer to what I imagined emerge on the canvas than what I was trying so hard to grasp at.
.
Thanks Taurus, for giving me a little lesson in bull-headed creativity 🙃🐃
