‘She Sell Sea Shells’ – Day 154/365

ORIGINAL COPY POSTED ON INSTAGRAM DURING THE CHALLENGE

Perhaps the whole “she sells sea shells” thing is a nursery rhyme analogy for wanting to make a living from a life you don’t need a holiday from?
.
Perhaps that’s why the rhyme seems ridiculous. Sea shells are free. How can she sell them? I’ll tell you how. Because she’s walked the beach back and forth a thousand times to find the most beautiful ones. And she’s polished them up. Most people just don’t have the time for that. So really what she’s selling you is her patience and her passion. Her shells are right there – a perfectly preserved memory of your 10 minutes on the beach.
.
Perhaps she’s not so silly after all?🐚
