ORIGINAL COPY POSTED ON INSTAGRAM DURING THE CHALLENGE
This was more or less (painted largely from memory) the state of Hely-Hutchinson dam on a recent trip up Table Mountain. I was quite shocked to see it this low. Whether that’s normal for this time of year or a remnant state from last year’s severe drought, I can’t say. But seeing the dam with such a finite amount in it, definitely rung my save water bells, loud and clear again.
I wanted to share this little painting yesterday forĀ #worldwaterday, but it wasn’t done. In its state of incompletion, I was reminded that it doesn’t matter when I share it because water awareness deserves to be an everyday thing!
