‘If Not For You’ – Day 89/365

ORIGINAL COPY POSTED ON INSTAGRAM DURING THE CHALLENGE

Dear Earth,

George Harrison wrote a song once. I guess it was for a girl.
Every time I hear it though, I think of you.
It makes my heart want to burst if I think of how we might fail you.. of ever having to say goodbye to all that you are.

Here’s George’s song. I think you’ll like it. Oh, and Earth – you had me at tiny things and trees on mountains.💙🌲🦔
.
“If not for you
Babe, I couldn’t even find the door
I couldn’t even see the floor
I’d be sad and blue, if not for you
If not for you
Babe, the night would see me wide awake
The day would surely have to break
It would not be new, if not for you
If not for you, my sky would fall
Rain would gather, too
Without your love I’d be nowhere at all
I’d be lost, if not for you
If not for you
The winter would hold no spring
Couldn’t hear a robin sing
I just wouldn’t have a clue, if not for you
If not…” (https://bit.ly/1wjJR6D)
